CELPIP score chart
Every CELPIP level next to the CLB level IRCC treats it as, and the CRS language points it earns per skill.
| CELPIP level | CLB | Points per skill, single | With a spouse |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10–12 | 10+ | 34 | 32 |
| 9 | 9 | 31 | 29 |
| 8 | 8 | 23 | 22 |

| 6 | 6 | 9 | 8 |
| 4–5 | 4–5 | 6 | 6 |
| Below 4 | Below 4 | 0 | 0 |
CELPIP levels 4 to 10 match CLB 4 to 10. IRCC counts CLB 10 and above as 10+.
How it works
Each row groups the CELPIP levels that earn the same points. IRCC treats CELPIP levels 4 to 10 as the same CLB levels and counts CLB 10 and above as 10+. Points are per skill, from the CRS table for your first official language: add up your four skills for your total, or let the calculator do it.
